1. Program Overview

The HoverAir Education Discount provides verified students and educators in the United States and the European Union with a discount on eligible HoverAir products.

Key attributes:

• Manual verification required for every application
• Valid education credential mandatory
• Region restricted to US and EU only

2. Eligibility Requirements

To qualify, the applicant must satisfy all three conditions below.

Not eligible:

• Institutions outside US/EU
• Homeschool programs without accredited documentation
• Alumni (unless currently enrolled/employed)
• Purchase for resale, bulk distribution, or institutional fleet

3. Accepted Proof Documents

Upload one of the following. The document must clearly show:

• Your full name
• Institution name
• Issue date (not expired beyond one academic year)

Not accepted: Screenshots of student portal without name, library cards, tuition receipts without full name, or general .edu email address only.

4. How to Apply – Step-by-Step Procedure

Use the following ordered steps. Manual review is required after submission.

Step 1: Go to the official EDU page

Step 2: Click “Apply for Education Discount”.

Step 3: Fill in the application form with:

• Full legal name
• Email address (same as your HoverAir account)
• Country of residence (US or EU only)
• Institution name

Step 4: Upload your proof document (PDF, JPG, or PNG, max 10 MB).
Ensure all four required data points (name, institution, issue date, validity) are readable.

Step 5: Submit the form. You will receive an automatic confirmation email within 15 minutes.

Step 6: Wait for manual review by HoverAir’s education team.

• Typical review time: 3 to 5 business days
• You will receive a second email with approval or denial

Step 7: If approved:

• A unique discount code will be sent to your registered email
• The code is valid for 30 days and one-time use
• Apply the code at checkout on https://us.hoverair.com (US store) or https://eu.hoverair.com (EU store)

5. Discount Details & Restrictions

Actual discount amount may vary by promotion period. The approval email will state the exact percentage.

6. Manual Review – What Happens

This program does not use automated verification. Human review checks for:

1. Document authenticity – no tampering or expired dates
2. Region match – US/EU only
3. One application per person per 12 months

Common denial reasons:

• Document missing your name or institution
• Photo ID with no expiration or issue year
• Country not in US or EU
• Previously used the discount in last 12 months

If denied: You may reapply once with a corrected document after 7 days.

7. Support & Common Questions

Q: Can I use a .edu email address as proof?
A: No. An .edu email alone is not accepted. You must upload one of the documents listed in Section 3.

Q: My institution is in the UK. Is that EU?
A: No. For this program, EU means current EU member states. UK residents are not eligible at this time.

Q: Am I eligible as an alumnus?
A: Yes, for up to 2 years after graduation. Provide your diploma or official graduation letter with date.

Q: Can my family member apply using my student status?
A: Yes. Eligible family members include spouse, domestic partner, child, parent, and sibling. You must upload your own proof document and indicate the relationship.

Q: How many devices can I buy per year?
A: Up to 2 devices per verified person per calendar year (based on order date).

Q: Will I be notified if my document is unclear?
A: Yes. If the reviewer cannot read your document, you will receive a “needs clarification” email with resubmission instructions.

Q: Do I need to create an account before applying?
A: Yes. You need a HoverAir account using the same email address you provide on the EDU application.

Q: What happens if I misuse the program (e.g., falsify documents)?
A: See Section 9. Consequences may include order cancellation, benefit revocation, and permanent program disqualification.

8. Terms & Conditions (Summary)

The following terms apply to all applicants and participants in the HOVERAir Education Program.

8.1 Eligibility

• This program is open only to verified students, educators, and eligible family members in selected markets.
• Availability may vary by region and is subject to change.
• Graduates remain eligible as alumni for up to 2 years after graduation.

8.2 Account & Verification

• One Education account per person; accounts are non-transferable.
• HOVERAir has the sole discretion to determine whether you meet the eligibility requirements. Our determination is final, binding, and enforceable.
• We may request additional documents at any time to confirm your (or your family member’s) status.

8.3 Purchase Limits

• Up to two (2) devices per verified person per calendar year (based on order date).
• Selected accessories may have separate limits.

8.4 Personal Use Only

• Products and benefits are for personal use by the verified member or immediate family.
• Resale or bulk purchasing is prohibited.

8.5 Misuse & Enforcement

• Falsifying documents, attempting to bypass limits, or purchasing for resale may result in:
  • Order cancellation
  • Benefit revocation
  • Program disqualification

8.6 Offers & Availability

• Discounts apply to selected products and may not be combined with other promotions unless stated.
• Time-limited perks (e.g., free PowerCase through a specific month) and availability may vary by region.

8.7 Changes

• HOVERAir may modify or end the program and update these terms at any time.
• HOVERAir’s determinations on eligibility, limits, and misuse are final.

8.8 Governing Law

• By submitting your application, you agree to these terms.
• Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively by the courts of Hong Kong and subject to Hong Kong laws.
